Wind turbine generator manufacturer Suzlon Energy Ltd on Thursday said it has bagged an order of 197.40 MW from a private power utility company.
In a statement here, Suzlon Energy said: "The projects will be located across three sites in the Kutch and Bhavnagar districts of Gujarat. The project will be commissioned in phases with complete execution scheduled by March 2017.
"Suzlon will execute the entire project on a turnkey basis and will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the complete project lifecycle."
While the company is silent on the order value, a senior official told IANS that order value as an industry average is calculated at Rs.6 crore per MW.
Suzlon will install its S97 suite of wind turbine generators with 120m and 90m hub height and rated capacity of 2.1MW each.
