Three Brazilians recorded Olympic qualifying times on the second day of the Iberian-American athletics championships at Rio's Olympic stadium.
In the men's 800 metres final, Lutimar Paes and Kleberson Davide secured their place at the first Olympics in South America by taking the gold and silver medals respectively here on Sunday, reports Xinhua news agency.
Davide clocked 1 minute 45.42 seconds while Kleberson finished in 1 minute 45.79 seconds. The Olympic qualifying standard for the event is 1 minute 46 seconds.
In the women's 400m, Jailma Lima earned a Rio 2016 berth with a time of 51.99 seconds.
The three-day event at the Olympic stadium - known locally as the Engenhao - is also serving as an official test event for the Rio Olympics in August and September.
It is featuring 400 athletes, mainly from Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries and regions.
