Three killed, 14 missing in China boat capsize

At least three people were killed and 14 went missing after a boat capsized off the coast of China's Shandong province, the police said Friday.

The boat capsized late Thursday night and all 22 people on board fell into the water, Xinhua reported.

According to officials, five were rescued and three have been confirmed dead.

The remaining 14 people are yet to be located.

An initial investigation claimed that the boat was being used for human smuggling.
