Three people were arrested with heavy arms and ammunition from a farm house in the capital Wednesday, police said.
"Mahesh Sharma, 27, Manoj Sharma, 37, and Anil Kumar, 41, were arrested from farm house number seven in the Alipur area Wednesday afternoon," Additional Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar told IANS.
All those arrested are residents of Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat town and have previous criminal records. Further interrogations are on, the officer added.
A long barrel rifle, three country-made pistols, two short barrel guns, 17 live cartridges of .314 bore and 26 live cartridges of .124 bore have been recovered from the possession of the trio, according to police.
