The northeastern state of Tripura Thursday witnessed lowest temperature of the current winter season at 9.7 degrees Celsius, said a weather official.
"Today's (Thursday) minimum temperature was 9.7 degrees Celsius and maximum 25.4 degrees Celsius," India Meteorological Departments' (IMD) Tripura circle director Dilip Saha told IANS.
The IMD forecast no rain and predicted the cold wave could continue next few days.
