Two children killed in Afghan blast

Two children were killed and three civilians injured on Monday after a bomb blast in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.

"An improvised explosive device (IED) was planted near a bridge in Jalalabad city's Farm-e-Hadda area," a police officer told Xinhua. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital.
