Two Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members who have been protesting against Andhra Pradesh's division were suspended from the Rajya Sabha Monday for disrupting the house proceedings.
Rajya Sabha deputy chairperson P.J. Kurien suspended C.M. Ramesh and Y.S. Chaudhary for the day.
Kurien acted after both MPs came near the chairperson's podium holding placards and shouting slogans "Save Andhra Pradesh" and "We need justice".
