The uncut version of critically acclaimed Tamil thriller "Visaaranai", which is currently running in cinemas, will be released online in a couple of months, director Vetrimaaran said.
The uncut version, which includes profanity and violence, was screened at several film festivals.
"We're planning to release the uncut version on YouTube. It should be available online in two months," Vetrimaaran told IANS.
The film, which is about police brutality, is based on Tamil novel "Lock Up".
It stars Dinesh, Samuthirakani, Murugadoss and Kishore in important roles.
Last year, it had its world premiere at Venice International Film Festival and was later screened at Mumbai Film Festival.
