Actress Liv Tyler's "favourite thing" is taking "creepy" photographs of people sleeping.

Tyler says she loves to click images of her family and friends when they are asleep, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"My favourite thing at night is to check on everyone while they are sleeping, grown-ups, children. I actually take quite a lot of pictures of people when they're sleeping, which is kind of creepy because they look dead," Tyler told ES magazine.

The 38-year-old may not have as much time to photograph her current family, fiance Dave Gardner and their child Sailor, 12 months and her 11-year-old son, Milo, from a previous relationship, as she earlier revealed she is expecting her third child.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Oh my goodness it seems the stork is visiting us again ! I am growing another little Tyler Gardner in my belly... our family is growing! So grateful. @davidgardner I love you."
