Unseeded Ilija Bozoljac from Serbia lifted the $50,000 State Bank of India ATP Challenger Tour with an easy 6-1, 6-1 win over Russia's third seed Evgeny Donskoy here Saturday.
Bozoljac, who had an early exit in the first round of the ATP Challenger at Chennai, seemed to have worked harder in a week's time, as he broke the higher ranked Donskoy twice in the first set, once in the opening game and again in the third game to open up a 4-0 lead in the final.
Donskoy managed to hold serve in the fifth after a struggle, but lost the next two games to concede the set at the Bengal Tennis Association complex.
In the second too, the confident Serbian played almost flawless tennis race to a 3-0 lead, from where Donskoy tried hard to come back but failed.
Bozoljac got richer by 80 ATP points and $7200 by winning the 2nd leg of ATP Challenger Tour in India, after the Chennai last week.
