The national capital Saturday experienced a sunny and a warm day with the maximum temperature recorded at 38.2 degree Celsius, five notches above the season's average. Similar weather is expected Sunday.
"Sunday is likely to be clear and warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD). The maximum and the minimum temperature are likely to hover around 39 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
The minimum temperature Saturday settled at 26.4 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
Friday's maximum temperature was recorded four notches above average at 38.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 26 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
