Delhi experienced a warm Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average. Met has forecast similar weather Wednesday.
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius.
"The skies will remain clear throughout the day and the day warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature settled down at 20.4 degree Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 35.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded five notches below average at 18.6 degrees Celsius.
