Watson hit the Indian bowlers to all corners of the Sydney Cricket Ground in his 71-ball knock, with 10 boundaries and six sixes.
Middle-order batsman Travis Head was the next most successful scorer with 26 runs off 19 balls.
Left-arm pacer Asish Nehra (1/32) was the most impressive bowler for India.
India have already clinched the series with an unassailable 2-0 lead.
