Petriashvili oversaw the Crimean Football Union in the UEFA.

"He knew our football and he spoke Russian perfectly, and he knew our mentality, but unfortunately, he is dead," Vetokha said.

In summer-autumn, the union held the first part of the Premier League championship in Crimea. Eight teams from eight towns of Crimea took part in it. During this period, at total of rounds of the championship (56 games) were held.
