Rapper Will.i.am has agreed to sign up for "The Voice" again on one big condition - that he could get his hands on some of the talent for himself.

The singing show always struggled to find a long-term star when it appeared on the BBC. As the show moves to ITV (TV network), the star will judge kids' version next year.

He has been told he can pick one act to sign to his label and ultimately turn into a star, reports mirror.co.uk.

A source said: "Will is really invested in the kids' version of the show and thinks it has a huge potential. It was a big factor in him re-signing and coming over to ITV. He loves the idea of getting involved with his favourite act after the series finishes and really thinks he can find the next Justin Bieber."

Auditions for the talent show are due to begin later this year.
