Most political leaders who were attending back-to-back rallies and meetings to drum up support for the Assembly polls in Bihar decided to take it easy on Dussehra. There was no respite for a large chunk of party workers though. They had to ensure their party's message was heard and their leaders remained in the consciousness of people visiting the Durga puja pandals. Campaign vehicles and rickshaws adorned with election posters were seen parked near the pandals in Patna to catch the attention of pandal-hoppers, many of whom came from nearby towns and villages.
