Many in the Twitter world seem to be having a laugh or at least smirking at the expense of the two “rock stars” of the Indian ecommerce ecosystem. Even as Softbank readies Snapdeal for its merger with Flipkart, new parallels are being drawn. RPG Enterprises chief Harsh Goenka tweeted that the proposed Snapdeal-Flipkart merger was like the “financial version of a couple having a baby to save a marriage”.
