Rahul Gandhi’s overt support for Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has made all the critics of the Abdullahs in the Congress Party shut up. Two days before Rahul’s public support for Omar, senior Congress ministers were openly criticising the J&K chief minister for his handling of the situation. But one word from the scion of the party’s ruling family was enough to snuff out all dissent. The same ministers who were happy to express their views on Abdullah's competence now refuse to say anything. So much for inner party democracy!
