Thursday was lawyer-activist and future politician Prashant Bhushan’s day in court. He was arguing a case on the Kudankulam nuclear power plant. There are dozens of other anti-corruption cases that see Bhushan making a case in the apex court. There is the Karnataka mining case where he has a petition, the coal scam where he is about to file a petition, having already filed one on the Goa mining scam. In the past, he has also argued in the 2G telecom spectrum scam case. Currently, old timers reckon that he is fighting it out in 50-odd cases. Bhushan is taking up these very issues as an activist also with Arvind Kejriwal when he protests at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. With the duo now planning to float a political party soon, there is yet another stage for Bhushan to test his arguing skills.
