Bihar Health Minister and son of former chief ministers Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, Tej Pratap Yadav (pictured), is worried about women not joining the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He squarely blames rowdy members of the RJD. “Women join all other political parties but none are willing to associate with the RJD,” Yadav told a gathering of party workers at his official residence, 3 Desh Ratna Marg, in Patna. “Have you ever thought why?” Yadav said workers would often fight for a seat on the stage and there was widespread indiscipline. Urging party workers to not display firearms, he said: “Our image will go for a toss if there is no discipline.” Yadav also said he would ask his father to create a separate place for women workers in the RJD. “We have to encourage them to come forward,” said Yadav.
