There will be three Rajya Sabha vacancies from Delhi in January. The Congress holds the three seats at present. Given the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) overwhelming numbers in the Delhi Assembly, it is set to win all three seats. There are several contenders in the party. Kumar Vishwas has already staked his claim despite differences with the party leadership — Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. Others in the race are Sanjay Singh, Ashutosh and some young spokespersons of the party.
