Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday hoped the Telangana bill and other bills are passed in parliament.

Speaking to reporters, the prime minister said there are many other major bills to be passed as well including the anti-corruption bill and the communal violence bill that are pending approval before parliament.

"I hope that parliament in its wisdom will be able to clear the Telangana bill," he told reporters on the sidelines of an event here.

He also said this parliament session is the last one of the 15th Lok Sabha before the general elections.

"There are many important bills... the anti-corruption bill, women's reservation bill and the communal violence bill. I sincerely hope that parliament in its wisdom will allow transaction of business in the House," he said.
