Amit Koshal joins MySpace India as Senior Business Development Manager

MySpace - the world’s leading social portal today announced the appointment of Amit Koshal as Senior Business Development Manager – Mobile for India operations.

Amit Koshal brings with him rich expertise in the Mobile space with more than five years of experience in the Mobile Value Added Services like Content & Gaming with specialization in the field of Mobile Social Networking services.

As the Senior Business Development Manager-Mobile at MySpace - the world’s premiere social portal and one of the most iconic global youth brands, Amit is responsible for spearheading the Mobile strategy for MySpace India. MySpace India Mobile has seen a 50% growth in usage over the last six months alone.

Commenting on the hire, Hari V Krishnan, Country Manager of MySpace India said “Mobile access to MySpace has been our global focus, and in India we feel it will be even more pivotal. We are thrilled to have Amit onboard with his vast experience in the mobile VAS space. Prior to joining MySpace India, he served as Head of Business Development for Asia Pacific & Latin America Regions with ACL Wireless Limited. At ACL, he was responsible for the new deals and strategic alliances in APAC and Latin America. Before ACL, he was with Reliance's Mobile Gaming company - Jump Games wherein he was responsible for partnerships and business development.

Amit has an MBA in International Business from IMT Ghaziabad and FDU, USA and is a Computer Engineer from Mumbai University.
