1] The domestically strong Corporation Bank opened its first ever overseas Representative Office at Dubai on 22nd September 2008. The Representative Office was inaugurated by H.E.Saeed Abdullah Al-Hamiz, Central Bank of the UAE. Shri Venu Rajamony, Consul General of India, Indian Consulate, Dubai, UAE was the Chief Guest and Shri B.Sambamurthy, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank presided over the inaugural function.

2] The opening of Representative Office marks the beginning of the Bank's international presence. The Bank aims to convert this representative office into a full-fledged branch in course of time. With this, the Bank is planning to enlarge its presence in other parts of Middle East too and cater to the vast NRI segment.

3] Besides Middle East, the Bank intends to open its offices in China and Europe shortly. With a web of Representative Offices, the Bank envisages to have better engagement with NRI community. Ultimately, it intends to offer financial solution required for global presence.
