Today marks the launch of GlobalLogic’s two-day Innovate! 2010 – India executive summit. Innovate! is an exclusive summit series facilitated by GlobalLogic to connect global technology executives and thought leaders, share insights on innovation, and drive the development of tomorrow’s cutting-edge products. Innovate! India is GlobalLogic’s second summit of 2010. The company’s spring summit in Silicon Valley featured guest speakers from institutions like Sequoia Capital, Tuck’s Center for Global Leadership, Forrester Research, Business Week, McKinsey Global Institute and Aberdeen Group.
“Based on the overwhelming success of Innovate! Stanford earlier this year, we were encouraged to host our next summit in a geography that was experiencing tremendous growth and offering significant business and investment opportunities,” said Peter Harrison, CEO, GlobalLogic. “India was the natural choice, given the country’s near dominance in the market for global technology services.”
A recent article in the Economist, India’s Surprising Economic Miracle (October 2010), cites that “economists think India will grow faster than any other large country economy over the next 25 years.” Innovate! 2010 – India will explore the geography as both a developer and market for new technology products, as well as facilitate cross-continent and cross-industry connections between attendees.
Innovate! 2010 – India features an impressive line-up of speakers and presenters, including Suhel Seth (Equus & Counselage India), Navi Radjou (University of Cambridge), Manab Bose (ThinkTank) and Simone Ahuja (Blood Orange Media). The summit will also conduct industry panels with technology leaders and analysts such as Gartner, BSkyB, Sony Entertainment, Covidien, WellDoc, Tata Teleservices, Cisco Systems, MACH, Avid, McAfee, SAP and Sequoia Capital.
