IIFT affiliates with CBSE for training programmes

The Central Board of Secondary Education has allied with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) to conduct its training programmes for school teachers and Principals.

For the past many years, CBSE-affiliated schools were sending teachers and principals to the IIMs for training and leadership skills which would prepare them for challenges that they are likely to face in coming years. From now on IIFT will take charge of the same. The programmes – called 'Strategic Management and Leadership' programmes – are aimed at preparing school leaders for challenges they are likely to face in coming years.

The CBSE has for the past three years sent batches of teachers and Principals to the IIMs for training ands leadership skills. The programmes – called 'Strategic Management and Leadership' programmes – are aimed at preparing school leaders for challenges they are likely to face in coming years.
