Tanla Solutions Ltd, the leading provider of Mobile Payments and License Management, today announced that it has signed a 5 year frame agreement with Nokia, the largest handset manufacturer, covering License Management, Mobile Payments and related professional services.
Tanla’s License Manager Product, for rights management of applications and software on mobile devices, has already been installed on over a hundred and ten million Symbian based devices. License Manager seamlessly integrates application rights management and payments, enabling in-application billing, try-before-you-buy, subscription, and many other business models on the handset. Tanla will expand License Manager from Symbian devices to other platforms also.

Tanla will also be providing Nokia its Mobile Payment service to enable on device transactions. Tanla enables transactions in 160 countries through Mobile Operator and Credit Card billing. Tanla’s mobile payment service is used by a number of leading Software Vendors, Application Developers and Content Providers to enable secure transactions on the handset in order to monetize their content and services worldwide.
