Usher Agro Q2 revenues up by 60%

For the quarter

  • Sales increased by 60.01% to Rs. 137.05 cr
  • PAT increased by 32.34% to Rs. 8.93 cr

For 6M ending

  • Sales increased by 61.35% to Rs. 251.66 cr
  • PAT increased by 39.04% to Rs. 17.07 cr

One of the leading rice millers in India, Usher Agro Ltd, reported its quarterly profit & revenue numbers with a 60.01% rise in revenue and a massive 32.34% jump in the net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

While the company saw its net profit touching Rs. 8.93 cr for the second Quarter, which shows a 32.34% rise over the corresponding period last year, its sales increased by nearly 60.01% to Rs 137.05 cr in the reporting quarter.

The Managing Director, Mr. Vinod Kumar Chaturvedi, Usher Agro Ltd. commenting on the performance said, “We are extremely happy with the numbers. The strong demand environment across the industry have helped us to perform considerably well in the quarter thus resulting in the expansion of our revenue and profit base.
