"Kahaani" to be remade in Tamil
Endemol India Private Limited will join hands with noted Tamil production house Nemichand Jhabak Productions for its maiden venture in Tamil which will be the remake of the Sujoy Ghosh-directed film where Balan portrayed the role of a pregnant woman in search of her husband in the bustling metropolis of Kolkata.
"Remake rights is owned by Endemol while investment partner of the movie in Tamil would be V Hitesh Jhabak of Nemichand Jhabak Productions," a release said.
Talks are on with top three directors and two heroines of Tamil cinema and a formal announcement is expected soon, it said.
