Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills obtained the letter where Jackson details his dire need for rest but the company decided to remove it from their upcoming Music Icons auction following a request from Presley, who was married to Jackson from 1994 to 1996, E!Online reported.
Julien said it was because of the "personal nature" of the note and the company's desire to maintain a "good relationship" with Presley that they agreed to this "reasonable request."
In the note, written between 1993 to 1996, Jackson scribbled: "I truly need this rest. I haven't slept litterally in 4 days and I need to be away from phones and business people. I must take care of my health first. Im' crazy for you (sic)."
He signed the note, "Love, Turd," an apparent nickname of his.
The letter reveals that singer was suffering from insomnia much early in his life. Ironically, Jackson died due to an overdose of propofol in 2009. The singer became addicted to the anesthetic drug to fight off his insomnia.
