1,400 detonators seized in Bihar

More than 1,400 detonators were seized from a house in Bhusunda Bazar area in Bihar's Gaya district, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of one Shambhu Mistri and recovered the detonators, one pistol and five cartridges last night, Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Singh said.
Mistri managed to escape ahead of the police raid, he said.
