12 fresh cases of swine flu in Telangana

Twelve fresh cases of swine flu have been reported in Telangana, where 77 people have succumbed to the H1NI virus since the beginning of this year.
"Since January one till April 4, 7,481 samples were tested out of which 2,301 were found to be positive. The number of deaths because of swine flu and related complications is 77," a state government release said today.
Twelve out of the 58 samples sent for analysis on April 4 were found positive for the virus, it said.
The government has advised citizens to take precautions such as reporting to the hospital on appearance of first symptoms of swine flue like high fever, sneezing, cough and body pains.
