A 13-year-old boy, today claimed to have built a robot controlled by cell phone with the help of DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) module.
"I use two mobile phones to control the robot. One is connected with robot, it acts as call receiver, and another is used to send signals and acts like a remote control," Tushar Sarin, a class VIII student claimed at a press conference here.
He also demonstrated his self-made robot here.
Tushaar said he is working on a couple more things, which he claimed will have "great practical application."
"I am now making a fire alarm and a smoke sensor. These things can be installed at public places and have great practical application," he claimed.
