13th convocation ceremony of MUHS held

Maharashtra Medical Education Minister Jitendra Avhad today stressed the need to create good and high quality doctors in different faculties.
Avhad presided over the 13th convocation ceremony of the University of Health Sciences (MUHS) here.
Secretary of the Union Health Research Department Dr Vishwamohan Katoch, VC of Jabalpur Medical University Dr D P Lokvani and MUHS' VC Dr Arun Jamkar were present on the occasion.
As many as 6710 students of different medical faculties of 2012-13 batch were conferred with degrees at the hands of Avhad and other dignitaries while 47 among these students were awarded gold medals.
