15-year-old boy found murdered

A 15-year-old boy was found murdered today in a deserted house here, the police said.
Ashish Kumar, a class nine student of DAV High School, was found murdered in a dilapidated house at Chandmari under Town police station area, Station House Officer (SHO) Ajay Kumar said.
Ashis's throat was slit and his body recovered from a dilapidated deserted house in Chandmari locality of Motihari.
"The criminals had placed a muffler around the neck of the boy after slitting his throat. Several cuts have also been found on his hand," the SHO added.
The victim's maternal uncle Pushp Ranjan said the boy lived with his mother in a rented house in the town.

His father Atul Kumar, currently posted as a manager at a bank in Khagaria district, had divorced her.
"Ashish went out of his house around 10 am yesterday morning and did not return after that. After a search by his relatives and neighbours, police located the body," Ranjan said.
