The girl, a resident of Dabua Colony NIT, was going to tuition yesterday when she was eve-teased by a youth,they said.
The accused, Gurpreet, who lives in the same locality, behaved indecently and threatened to kill her if she refuses to marry him, police said.
The victim narrated the incident to her parents and filed an FIR at Saran police station.
Gurpreet has been booked under section 354A and 506 of IPC, Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajbala said, adding the matter is being investigated.
