150 cartons of country-made liquor seized in Bihar, one held

A total of 150 cartons of country-made liquor were seized and one person was arrested in this connection today from a market place under Guthni police station area in Siwan district, police said.
Acting on a tip off, the police intercepted a four wheeler at Guthni Bazar and seized 150 cartons, each containing 24 bottles of country-made liquor.
The liquor consignment which was brought from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar, which was declared a dry state in April, police said.
One person who was in the vehicle was arrested.
