Acting on a tip-off, a team of officials searched the vehicle parked near Vivekananda Nagar flyover and seized the consignment, Excise Inspector K P Singh said.
The vehicle has also been seized. Attempts were on to trace the owner of the vehicle, he said.
Excise officials said the Indian made foreign liquor bottles were being smuggled into Uttar Pradesh from Haryana where alcohol is cheaper.
They said the bootleggers used the car fitted with blue beacon to avoid checking.
