2 booked for rape following court order

Two youths were booked for allegedly raping and threatening a 15-year-old girl in Alipur village of the district over a month ago, police said today.
Shahivan Hussain and Rizvan Hussain, were booked yesterday on orders of a local court after police had refused to lodge her complaint earlier.
According to the FIR, the girl was raped on June 29 in her house, after committing the crime, they threatened to kill her and escaped from the spot.
The victim alleged that she approached the Nayagaon police station but no FIR was registered on her complaint. She later moved an application in the court which ordered police to register the case.

No arrests have been made, police said, adding that they were probing the matter.
