The Prince Charles Hospital in Merthr Tydfil, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) north of Cardiff, confirmed that two others remain in the hospital following Sunday's lightning storm on the Pen Y Fan mountain range in Wales. One of the injured was being treated for burns.
In an earlier statement, the Welsh Ambulance Service said three people who were walking together had been hospitalized after being hit by lightning. The walkers included a man in his 50s, and no details were available for the others.
