The incident occurred yesterday after a large number of people gathered for a family function in Bapcha area of Baran district, SHO Maan Singh said.
The deceased have been identified as Ayushi Kirad (6) and Savitri (45).
Six of the injured are undergoing treatment in hospital while others with minor injuries have been discharged, he said.
The bodies have been handed over after post mortem, he added.
