The incident took place this afternoon when Ram Dularey (50) and his aunt Shanti Devi (55) were going on their motorcycle and it was hit by a speeding bus, they said.
Both of the victims died on the spot, the police official said, adding the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
Bus driver Shakeel managed to flee from the spot after the incident, he added.
