2 killed in clash over riverbed mining

Two persons were killed and four others injured today in a group clash which broke out in Baroni area of Tonk district in Rajasthan.
The clash broke out between the two groups over the issue of riverbed sand mining.
Members of both the groups were armed with iron rods, sticks and other weapons, police said.
"Both the sides were claiming their right to mine sand and the issue turned violent, the police said, adding, that the injured were admitted to a local hospital.
