The victims have been identified as Puran Singh Chand (35) and Sanjay Singh (29). The incident took place around 7.15 AM this morning when the duo was returning their homes after attending their parade, police said.
"When Puran and Sanjay reached near CBI Academy, a speeding car, which was coming from Hapur, hit their motorcycle. The impact was so hard that the duo were thrown about 25 feet up in the air," a senior police officer said.
"We have registered a case against accused driver, identified as Sushant Sharma. He was later arrested and investigation was on," he added.
