During regular checking of vehicles, the police intercepted two motorcycles coming from Nepal at Devdha chowk and seized a haul of currency notes of India, Nepal, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, UAE and Bangladesh being possessed by two persons of Nepalese nationality, Devdha police station in-charge Nisar Ahmad said.
The currency notes seized from the bikers comprised Rs 21 lakh in Indian currency, Rs 1.25 lakh in Nepalese currency, ten Indonesian Rupiah, 20 Saudi Rial, one Malayasian Ringgit, 10 UAE Dirham, five Bangladeshi Taka, he said.
