In the first incident, a 28-year-old youth was killed after his motorcycle rammed into a stationary tractor-trolley near Gumanpura village, on Kota road, under Etawa police station of the district in the wee hours of today.
The driver of tractor-trolley managed to escape after the accident, however, his vehicle was seized and efforts are on to nab him, they said.
The victim, Jodhraj Meena, a resident of Ganeshganj area of Kota city, was returning home from his field at around 4 am when his bike collided with the tractor-trolley after he failed to spot it as there were no reflectors attached at the back of the vehicle, Etawa police station officer Satnam Yadav said.
In another incident, a 20-year-old Aakash Meghwal, a resident of Dhakarkhedi area, died after his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified truck near Aryan College on Kaithun road under Udhyognagar police station area of the city.
He was going to market at around 2.30 pm, when his bike was hit from behind by an unidentified truck near Aryan Collage on Kaithun road killing him on the spot, Udhyognagar police station, Sub-Inspector (SI) Vinod Kumar.
An alert was sounded at the city check posts to nab the truck and its driver but he has not been traced so far, the SI said.
