20 passengers injured in a bus accident in Nepal

At least 20 people were injured, five of them critically when a passenger bus overturned in eastern Nepal today, police officials said.
The bus travelling to Kakarvitta, Jhapa from Dharan, Sunsari overturned near the Mechinagar Municipality in Jhapa district on the East-West Highway this morning.
The incident took place when the driver was trying to avert a possible collision with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, the Area Police Office, Kakarbhitta said.
Five of the injured were said to be in a critical condition and had been rushed to Siliguri for treatment, while the remaining were undergoing treatment at the local Mankamana and Kankai hospitals, the police said.
