The growth was excellent in April and May this year compared to the corresponding period last year, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held a review meeting on finance with senior officials, it said.
The revenue in April and May in 2015 from the departments like commercial taxes, stamps and registration and transport was Rs 6,031 crores which rose to Rs 7,687 crore in April and May this year.
