The deceased has been identified as Kuldeep, a resident of Bhajan Pura in East Delhi, SHO, Ashok Sishodia said, adding, the body was found near a farm house under Sihani Gate Police Station.
Kuldeep was working as a driver with DTC and was posted at Millennium Bus Depot.
Preliminary investigations reveal that he was killed somewhere else and his body has been thrown here to hoodwink the police, Sishodia said.
Presence of tyre marks of a car near the dead body indicates that his body was dumped here, he said, adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
