29th anniversary of 'Operation Blue Star' observed

The 29th anniversary of 'Operation Blue Star' passed off peacefully at the 'Akal Takht' in Golden Temple complex here amid tight security.
A religious function was held at the Harmandir Sahib on the occasion, which was addressed by 'Akal Takht' Jathedar Gyani Gurbachan Singh and various others.
A large number of SGPC members, besides security personnel, were also present during the religious function that witnessed chanting of slogans by some devotees.
